How Custom Orders Work
Love a box in the archive but want it tailored to YouR UniquE StorY? Whether it’s a memorial urn, a jewelry box, or a "stash" for your favorite things, I specialize in turning your vision into a hand-cut collage masterpiece.
1. Start the Conversation
Email me directly GratefulBox@gmail.com. "Hi Caroline, I'm interested in a custom Grateful Box." Tell me about the vibe you're looking for—favorite songs, specific colors, or a story you want the box to tell.
2. The Design Phase
We’ll discuss the box size and any special elements you want included. I’ll provide a price quote based on the complexity and size of your project. Have a box you want decoupaged? Please include a
photo and the dimensions in your email.
3. Secure Your Spot
Once we’ve agreed on the design, box, and timeline, you can purchase the "Deposit on a Custom Box" right here in the Grateful Box store. This
officially puts you on my studio calendar!
4. Hand-Cut Custom Art
Custom boxes typically take 3-6 weeks to complete. I’ll send you a few "process" photos along the way so you can watch your box come to life.
5. Final Reveal & Delivery
When your box is finished, I’ll send you the final photos, a postal delivery quote (you pay postage), and an invoice for the remaining balance. Once settled, your Grateful Box is carefully packed and
shipped from my studio in Asheville.
