This Grateful Box was made on commission for a wedding present. It features a Staley Mouse rose on top, bumper-sticker reproductions, and, front and center, Bertha and Uncle Sam as they appeared on stage at the Greek Theater in Berkeley, CA in 1981. On the back, a quote from Robert Hunter sums up the signifigance of roses in GD signia, and the bottom boasts an Alice in Wonderland quote. May it bring the newlyweds joy!
